We had the pleasure of hosting the Skosh team from York here at the distillery.

Since 2019, Skosh has featured Filey Bay whisky on their menu. We invited the team to learn more about out field-to-bottle production, regenerative farming techniques and gain insight into our whisky making process.

During their visit, the team enjoyed a guided tasting session tailored to enhance their knowledge of our whisky. This session included a special sampling straight from the cask in our warehouse. (That’s a real treat).

Skosh has a bespoke dining room with an open concept kitchen designed specifically to create a unique experience, to enjoy uncomplicated, yet refined dishes in a comfortable and informal manner.

Chef-owner Neil Bentinck opened his first restaurant in the summer of 2016 in a newly refurbished Grade II listed building, situated just beyond the ‘Micklegate bar’. For those planning a visit to York, we highly recommend stopping by to witness their amazing menu and warm hospitality.
