Filey Bay Flagship is the true taste of our distillery character. Light, fruity and creamy, it is made with 100% homegrown barley and is the culmination of our bourbon matured style following on from our First and Second Release launched in 2019.
Released in late November 2019, Filey Bay Second Release continued the precedent set by the First Release. Made from field to bottle with 100% homegrown barley and matured in ex-bourbon, it added notes of vanilla ice cream, caramel, biscuit and honey.
The first step in our single malt journey, Filey Bay First Release set the tone for how our whisky would taste. Award-winning and received to critical acclaim, only 2000 bottles were available and sold out almost immediately. Matured in ex-bourbon for over three years, it was light, fruity and welcoming. Exactly how we wanted our single malt to be.
