After a busy week last week at the Whisky Show its been great to get back in the warehouse this week to plan for our 2025 releases... what would you like to see us release?

We're are excited to announce we've made it to the finals of the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards 2024 (REYTAs)!

We've been shortlisted in three categories: the Remarkable Cuppa, the Remarkable Local Producer, and the Remarkable Taste Awards.

Tourism is an important part of the distillery’s offering, and its great that that we have been recognised by tourism chiefs in the region. We look forward to meeting our fellow finalists at the awards dinner at Bridlington Spa on 14th November 2024.

Whisky Show Exclusive 2024 - Filey Bay IPA Single Cask #731

We’re extremely excited to finally have the opportunity to introduce Filey Bay IPA Single Cask #731, bottled exclusively to celebrate the @whiskyshow, London 2024.

We’re one of only a small number of distilleries that have had the privilege to be selected for an exclusive show bottling. This opportunity was the perfect excuse for us to produce something a little bit special for one of the biggest whisky shows in the world.

You will find us on stand 19 across all three days from 6-8 September. If you’re lucky enough to be attending, please come and say hello and enjoy a dram with us.

Only 204 bottles of this release will ever exist, giving those of you attending the show the chance to grab something very rare and unique.

Harvest Complete!

The spring barley is now safely in. As each field was cleared, Tom was right behind, planting cover crops on the future spring barley fields. These diverse crops will keep the soil green and healthy all winter, each playing a role in its regeneration. Come October, he'll be back out, sowing the remaining fields with winter barley and winter wheat.

It's hard to believe that a full year has passed since we released Filey Bay IPA Finish Batch #2, born from our unique position as farmers, brewers, and distillers.

We nurtured the barley, brewed the beer, and distilled the spirit - a true 'Field to Bottle' experience.

The result? A light and fruity single malt infused with an unexpected twist from the IPA casks.

Tasting Notes - Light, fruity & biscuity with flavours of green apple, pear drops, lemon cake and hops.

This release has since gone on to win a silver medal at the IWSC's with 93 points.
