Private casks are exactly that! A cask filled by us and owned by an individual. Once filled with either new make or aged whisky, it lives in our warehouse, patiently maturing. After a number of years, when the whisky is ready, together we can discuss options for bottling, to be enjoyed and shared with family and friends.

Private Cask Ownership is aimed at individuals or groups of people who want a unique, bespoke, single malt whisky from the first whisky distillery in Yorkshire. You can sample it as it matures, and once it is bottled, enjoy your very own distinctive spirit. Buying a cask with friends is affordable and results in a more manageable quantity of bottles at the end of maturation.
