See the distillery the way that suits you best. We have Daily Distillery Tours (at 11, 1 and 3), a joint tour with our sister brewery, or for those who always want to know more, try our weekly Deep Dive every Friday and selected Saturdays. Our expert guides will tell you all about this age-old, hands-on process that is part science, part patience and part instinct. You'll also get the chance to taste some of our latest releases and perhaps even a fresh cask sample.

Live Music

Distillery Sessions

Six times a year we host the best local live music here at the distillery. From singer-songwriters to six-piece bands, our Distillery Sessions are always loud, extremely fun and have everyone singing along and often dancing too! The team create a different menu for each gig, to complement the music and the time of year. The often sell out in advance so keep an eye on our events diary below to see what's coming up next.

A Great Day Out

We had a fabulous and very interesting tour of the distillery. The guide was very informative and knew all aspects of the process. During the tasting time the guide was very knowledgeable about what to expect from each of the three samples she provided. Our visit was finished off perfectly by a relaxing and delicious meal in the distillery cafe and a look around the shop. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in North Yorkshire.

Outstanding: do not miss the opportunity to visit

Distillery Tour

It was a very interesting tour , the young girl was very knowledgeable and answered every question anyone asked ,the tour was around an hour and a half , then testing of the whiskeys was available . anyone who was driving was given 3 miniature bottles to test at home , and a beautiful little glass exclusive to the distillery was given , these cannot be bought so need to be treasured , would recommend to anyone , after the tour they have a lovely tearoom selling home cooking and baking got to be tried booking advisable.

Great experience

I’m not generally a whiskey drinker I went with my father inlaw as i bought him the tour as a gift and we both loved it. Didn’t stop talking about it all day! Was fantastic!

FAQs

When will my whisky be delivered?

Our deliveries are made during business hours, Monday-Saturday, and will be delivered within 2-3 working days. You will receive email and/or SMS notifications too.

How do I qualify for free delivery?

When you spend £100 or more, free postage will automatically be applied to your basket (UK Mainland only).

Can I click and collect my order?

Absolutely! Select ‘Collect in Store’ as a delivery option at checkout. You’ll receive an email when it’s ready for you to collect from the distillery.

How do I know if this whisky is for me?

Buying online makes it tricky to try – we get that! Each product page has tasting notes and illustrations to help you understand the Filey Bay flavour profiles. If you’d like to try in person and you’re in Yorkshire, head to the distillery for a tour or to try the whiskies the distillery shop. Further afield? Head to our Stockists page to find your local retailer, and head there to have a taste!
