Enjoying: Filey Bay in Germany

Spirit of Yorkshire Director, David Thompson visits Munich, Germany.

David was on international duty once again last weekend, this time visiting our German distributor, Schlumberger Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co, side by side with the renowned ‘Munich Spirits, a festival for fine spirits and whiskys from all over the world, which drew in a crowd of 2000. 

Filey Bay is much loved in Southern Germany, with our regular fans turning out in strength. Newcomers to our whisky were particularly delighted by the Germany exclusive bottling, available at: schlumberger.de. 

The marriage of ex-Bourbon and ex-Moscatel Sherry casks, as well as ex-Oloroso Sherry casks resulted in only 1002 bottles. The casks were carefully selected by the “Keepers of the Quaich,” Andrea Caminneci & Thomas Plaue, and blended by Joe Clark, Whisky Director at Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery.With a drinking strength of 50.5% ABV, this whisky really comes alive.

   I see this available through vinello online but is complex to buy , is the German cask available through yourselves please
