Enjoying: Filey Bay on Downing Street

David and Jenni headed to London with backpacks full of Filey Bay Whisky on Thursday last week (30th November), for a Christmas Street Party on Downing Street.

The afternoon started with a roundtable discussion inside no. 10 with the Minister for Business and Trade about the challenges affecting small businesses, which David said was really interesting and a great opportunity to put forward points of view and get some valuable detail about them.

The action then moved outside for a three hour ‘street market’ on Downing Street, pouring whisky for, and chatting to, selected guests from across government, community champions and businesses from around the country too. It was pretty chilly (!) but great to talk to a whole range of people, from college students to the leader of NFU Cymru, as well as a whole range of great businesses from across the country.
