A Masterclass at Whiskyschiff Luzern to find the next single cask for Switzerland.
This class was the first of its kind in Switzerland and was oversubscribed with us having to make extra places for super keen attendees.
Attended by some fantastic fans of Filey Bay but also some other whisky makers/distillers, clubs and folk from the whisky trade. Of course, our importer Whisky Bibliothek was involved organising the class alongside with the show organisers.
Casks in the running were... ex-bourbon, ex-Moscatel, ex-Peated, Refill Olo Sherry and ex-PX. PX which was the winner taking 12 votes of the 32 attending.
The winning cask will be bottled and making its way to Switzerland this spring in time for Whiskymäss Winterthur at the end of May.
The feedback on the class was outstanding and it was an absolute hit.
