The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery Sessions Return with a live performance from the incredible Tom Figgins on the 24th February 2024.
Renowned primarily as a singer-songwriter, Tom’s distinctive vocal range, singular guitar style, and intricate lyrics have resonated with audiences, earning him a dedicated fan base. Notably, Chris Evans, the former host of BBC Radio 2, became one of his fans, featuring Tom on his show multiple times and inviting him to headline the main stage at CarFest in both 2015 and 2016.
Tom’s live sessions, including collaborations with Mahogany, have gained substantial online attention, with thousands of hits on YouTube. His single “Retrograde” is well on its way to reaching a million streams on Spotify, underlining the growing appreciation for his work in the digital realm.
Tom performed internationally in The Great Gatsby, Neverland & Orpheus, and has since returned to music, working as a media composer, producer and musician.His work composing the music for fiction podcast Benlunar was recognised at The Podcast Awards 2021 with a nomination for the Bullseye category. Tom had his first outing behind the desk working as producer for The Gods The Gods The Gods, a 12 track piece of gig theatre, which spent most of 2023 on tour around the world.
