Living: Meet the Team – Libby

Libby’s role within the distillery varies from marketing, events, the coffee shop and tours. She’s been part of the team since July 2018.

Q: What’s your favourite part of your role at the distillery?
A: The tasting events. Talking about whisky is one of my favourite things to do.

Q: Name your top 3 favourite Spirit of Yorkshire releases?
A: DP006 Maturing Malt, STR Finish, and the new Sherry Cask Reserve #1

Q: Your favourite whisky, excluding Filey Bay?
A: Glenrothes 18-year-old PX sherry cask

Q: If you could enjoy a dram with someone famous, who would it be and why?
A: Difficult question, but I would probably say the band You Me At Six, they are my ultimate favourite and I have so many questions.

Q: Pick your favourite meal or piece of music to go with your favourite dram
A: Always like this – Bombay Bicycle Club, it reminds me of late 2018, the time my whisky geekiness started to come to life!
