Enjoying: IWSC Spirits Awards 2025
We’re celebrating some fantastic results at this years IWSC Spirits Awards, with Filey Bay picking up two gold medals, three silver and three bronze.
To win a medal in any competition for any of our releases is always great and very welcome news. These IWSC awards, in particular, serve as a reminder that it’s not just us who believe our whisky is tasting great, but that a whole collection of industry specialists and experts agree.
The UK judging took place in London and covered various categories, including spirits, wine, and alternative drinks.
For those new to whisky or seeking a gift, the whisky section of any shop can be a complex and sometimes even intimidating thing to navigate, but knowing a whisky has been awarded a medal can help ease the mind and encourage that leap of faith to try something different or to give something new a try. Like a field-to-bottle single malt whisky, made in Yorkshire, no less.
