Exceptionally Special
Sibling casks, these very special casks came from the same bodega and were filled on the same day back in October 2017. But as with all families, the same start in life can lead to wildly different personalities... and so it is with these.
Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred
Ex-PX Barriques
These three casks hold a delicious story. First filled with rioja wine, they were shaved, toasted and re-charred before being filled again but this time with fruity and sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry. As soon as the sherry was disgorged, the casks arrived here in Yorkshire and were filled with our pot-distilled new make and racked in the warehouse to patiently mature for the next few years.

#662 is the spicy one. Fruity and aromatic with flavours of dark raspberry, chocolate, black pepper and cinder toffee.

#663 is the sweet one. Rich and candied with flavours of dark chocolate covered raisins, butterscotch and cola cubes.
