On behalf of the distillery team we'd like to say thank you for choosing a bottle of Filey Bay (or perhaps someone chose one for you!) We're Dave & Tom, co-founders of the distillery, and we've been friends for years. We started talking about barley in the 1980s and 30 years later, it was barley that led us to setting up Yorkshire's first whisky distillery.
Take a look around our website – you'll find out all about our field to bottle process and how we respect tradition but do things our own way.
And please let us know what you think about the whisky too. Drop us a note on any social channel, send us an email or, better yet, come and say hi in person. We're open seven days a week, run tours everyday, and a very tempting coffee shop overlooking the stills too.

Farmers Weekly Awards 2024
We're delighted to say that we've been shortlisted for the 'Diversification Farmer of the Year' category of the prestigious annual Farmers Weekly Awards 2024. After a tough 3 hours of judging early in July, we have to wait until October to find out if we've won... wish us luck!
