After the huge success of our first distillery Open Day last August, we’re back bigger and better than ever this year. We’re planning a jam-packed day full of activities from masterclasses and demonstrations, to distillery tours, games and competitions. A real celebration of whisky and the county. Join us on Saturday the 10th of August from 12pm - 8pm for live music, plenty of food, smiles and Yorkshire Spirit. Taste, learn and enjoy: we look forward to seeing you.
Tickets cost £10 per person and £2.50 for children (aged 6-17 years). For obvious reasons, children cannot participate in any of the tasting events that involve alcohol. Under 6s qualify for free entry but unfortunately cannot participate in the distillery tour.
Each Open Day adult ticket includes…
All-day access to our 2019 open day.
A distillery tour - discover how we are making the county's first single malt whisky.
A Spirit of Yorkshire nosing glass - for all your tasting requirements throughout the day.
Here’s what’s happening…
Our distillery tours are really popular and so we're running them at regular intervals throughout the open day for you to come and see some of the country's most impressive whisky making equipment and learn about our unique approach.
We are also pulling together some really exciting food producers who we have been working with over the last year to show you their wares. Expect some tasty and truly exciting collaborations bringing real craftsmanship, quality and flavour.
As well as this, we have a growing list of masterclasses, demos and activities, all of which will be announced and available to book in the coming weeks. To make sure you don't miss anything, sign up to our mailing list newsletter and/or keep checking back on the site for updates.
Please note: We do not send out physical tickets for this event, your confirmation email will act as your tickets on the day. We advise all visitors against wearing high heels as they are not appropriate for the mezzanine flooring within the distillery. For information on accessibility please read our Accessibility Guide. Early afternoon on the day we expect to be very busy so please be aware that you may have to wait to take part in some of the activities or get onto a tour.
Our standard deliveries are made during normal business hours Monday - Saturday, and will be delivered within 2-3 workings days. We do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
