Key Details

From £18.50 per person, our Festive Afternoon Teas are available 7 days a week throughout December: between 1pm and 3pm Monday – Saturday, and between 12pm and 2pm on Sundays. Because they’re made by the team here at the distillery, they must be booked 24 hours in advance.

Make it fizz!

Make it extra special with a dram of Filey Bay Whisky, a pint of Wold Top Beer or a glass of prosecco… just add it on when you book! And because it’s Christmas, our Festive Afternoon Teas come served with a cracker too.

Made of Yorkshire

Provenance is really important to our Afternoon Tea – we want it to be a true ‘Yorkshire’ experience and so we use our favourite local producers wherever possible. Eggs from Burton Fleming, our neighbouring village; milk from St. Quintin’s Creamery in Harpham; ham from Trotters Farm Shop in Sherburn; coffee from Dark Woods in Huddersfield; cheese from Wensleydale; and of course, Yorkshire Tea!

Deliciously Decadent

Our Festive Afternoon Teas are really special and proudly made by hand. From Christmas Cake to mince pies, mini pigs-in-blankets or nut-roast rolls (if you go for the Vegetarian tea), they’re sure to get you feeling Christmassy.

These special Festive Afternoon Teas are only available to book during December. Because they’re homemade, we have a limited number everyday and ask that you please give us 24 hours notice when booking.

FAQs

Can children join the tour?

Everyone over the age of 6 is welcome to join a tour. We cannot allow anyone under the age of 6 into the still house. Therefore they cannot join the tour. This includes babes-in-arms.

What days will you be distilling?

The stills are in action on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. However very occasionally, for technical reasons, there will be times when we are not distilling on those days.

Can I bring my dog into the distillery?

We love our furry four legged friends however as we are a working distillery, we can only allow Assistance Dogs into the distillery building. This includes the distillery shop and the Pot Still Coffee Shop.

How long are the distillery tours

Our Daily Distillery Tours last 60 minutes (at 11, 1 and 3 everyday). The Distillery Deep Dive is 90 minutes. And our Brewery and Distillery Tours take around 3 hours.
