Join us on the mainstage for a free*, in-depth look at Filey Bay Heritage, created for English Heritage, and Filey Bay Nurture, our Regenerative Edition exclusive to Waitrose. This masterclass goes beyond the dram, it’s about the values and stories behind the whisky.

You’ll hear how these Editions came to be, the inspiration behind their creation, and what makes them stand out within the Filey Bay range. No ticket required, just turn up, take a seat, and enjoy.

Distillery Open Weekend 2025 Masterclass: Independent Bottlers

In this special masterclass, we’ll be pouring a selection of extremely rare single casks. A selection of casks that have been selected and bottled by some of the best Independent Bottlers in the whisky industry. Each dram tells a story of collaboration, creativity, and the journey of our whisky in other hands.

On entry you’ll be guided to your place, where six whiskies will be waiting for you. Whisky Director Joe Clark will be your host for the session which will last approximately 60 minutes. Tickets must be booked in advance.

We’re delighted to announce that Filey Bay Peated Finish has been awarded a Gold Medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Scoring 93 points out of a possible 100.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) is the oldest and largest blind spirit tasting competition of its kind, setting the industry standard for excellence.

Filey Bay Peated Finish is primarily matured in first-fill bourbon casks laid down in the winter of 2018 before a secondary maturation in peated casks from Islay, this single malt brings the west coast of Scotland here to the east coast of Yorkshire. Light, fresh & coastal with flavours of caramel, peat smoke and citrus.

April was an exciting month for fans of Filey Bay, with the release of two exceptional single malt whiskies: Nurture and Heritage. Both are totally different from anything we’ve done before, and the response from you all has been incredible.

We've had a flurry of messages from people keen to get their hands on a bottle.

Nurture is now available on Waitrose Cellar, and English Heritage have updated their online stock of Heritage. You’ll find direct links in our bio.
