First look: Filey Bay Yorkshire Day 2025.

Drawn from ex-Cream Sherry Hogsheads, this Special Release of just 1500 bottles is rich and fruity with notes of apricot jam, cinder toffee, fudge and hazelnuts.

Launching at our Open Weekend, 26th and 27th July, your first chance to grab a bottle. Keep an eye out across our social media channels tomorrow for more information on this very special release.

We’re at the 166th @greatyorkshireshow this week. You’ll find us in the Food Hall, Stand 579 with drams to try, bottles to take home and warm Filey Bay welcome from the team.

Because of the rarity of the whisky being poured, two of the Masterclasses require an additional ticket but we promise it will be worth it!

Announcement - Open Weekend 2025 - The Whiskies.

For the first time ever, not only are we launching our annual Yorkshire Day Special Release at our Open Weekend, but we’ll also have two special Filey Bay Single Cask bottlings available too. Bottle numbers are very limited and they'll be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a small allocation available for both Saturday and Sunday attendees.

Open Weekend Exclusive - Only people attending our Open Weekend on either Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th July will have access to the single cask bottlings.

We will share all the intricate details on Yorkshire Day 2025 and both Single Casks in the next week or so, across our social media channels and directly to our email subscribers.

Wow! It has been incredible to see the response to our Independent Specialist Retailers Single Cask Release, one of the fastest selling Filey Bay whiskies we’ve ever released.

A handful of bottles may still be available online or in-store, but they won’t be around for long. If you’re hoping to pick one up, we’d always recommend calling ahead to avoid a wasted journey.

A full list of where to find this release can be found via the link in our bio. As ever, we recommend calling stockists in advance, especially if you’re travelling a long way. This whisky is not available from our distillery.

Filey Bay Nurture... the whisky details.

The tasting notes say light, fruity and down-to-earth, but don’t worry… the soil stays on the land, not in the glass.

By marrying ex-Bourbon matured whisky, with whisky matured in ex-Red wine casks (that have been shaved, toasted and recharred to temper the tannins), we’ve created a delicious whisky to be enjoyed outside, inside and all year round, with malty and biscuit flavours alongside soft vanilla ice cream and ripe red fruits,
