As a whisky-first, taste-led distillery, we're extremely proud of our whisky. Since 2019, we've winning awards all around the world, including a prestigious IWSC Gold for 2024. Whether you have an established palette or you're new to single malt, there's a Filey Bay for you. From our light and fruity ex-bourbon matured Flagship to our rare and carefully considered cask-led Special Releases (with our range of 'finishes' between).

...from field to bottle. Farmers, brewers and distillers, we're real people and we're in control of every stage of the growing and distilling process. From what we grow and how we grow it, through to our unique still configuration and hand-distilling techniques, finishing with the bottling (often by hand) at the distillery. We really can rewind our liquid right back to the field.

Our way of farming – using cover crops and direct drilling – is crucial to the future of Filey Bay Whisky. By protecting the structure of the soil and keeping carbon beneath the ground, we're ensuring that our land and our barley are the best they can be, for our whisky and for the future.

Distillery Tours
The best way to try Filey Bay is here at the distillery. Join us for a tour (perhaps visiting the brewery and farm first), finish with a tasting, and enjoy locally-sourced and handmade breakfast or lunch in our coffee shop too (it's great cake). The beach is just around the corner too.
