Farm & Brewery
Hunmanby Grange
Hunmanby Grange - our beautiful family farm on the edge of the village (‘grange’ means outpost), where we grow the barley, and where Kate and Jenni live with their two families. Steeped in Mellor history, it’s where the Wold Top Brewery (run by Kate & Alex) brews its award winning beers, and it’s where the first part of the whisky making process (mashing and fermenting) takes place, overseen by Alex and Joe, our whisky director. It’s also home to our maturation warehouse.Â
Still House & Coffee Shop
Hunmanby Village
Hunmanby Industrial Estate - for a number of very practical reasons, it was important to us to have our distillery closer to public transport and with better accessibility than a rural farm. Owned already by David and Rebecca, we converted it from a distribution and printing warehouse, to the distillery you see today, over 2014 and 2015, with the stills ready to be commissioned in 2016. It’s where we distill our whisky, fill casks and bottle releases, as well as being a thriving Coffee Shop loved by the local community and tourists alike.Â
