Distillery Open Day 2019.

After the huge success of our first distillery Open Day last August, we’re back bigger and better than ever this year. We’ve got a jam-packed day full of activities from masterclasses and demonstrations, to distillery tours, games and competitions. A real celebration of whisky and the county, so come and join us on Saturday the 10th of August from 12pm - 8pm for live music, plenty of food, laughter and Yorkshire Spirit. Taste, learn and enjoy: we look forward to seeing you.

Ticket Information…

Tickets are £10 per person and £2.50 for children (aged 6-17 years). For obvious reasons, children cannot participate in any of the tasting events that involve alcohol. Under 6s qualify for free entry but unfortunately cannot participate in the distillery tour.

Each Open Day adult ticket includes…

All-day access to our 2019 open day.

A distillery tour and tasting - discover how we are making the county's

first single malt whisky.

A Spirit of Yorkshire nosing glass - for all your tasting requirements throughout the day.

Spaces are on a first come, first serve basis and guests are advised to congregate at the Distillery Tour Meeting Point approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. This is the ideal chance for you to come and see some of the country's most impressive whisky making equipment and learn about our unique approach.

MASTERCLASSES.

We've got four incredible masterclasses lined up with some really exciting food producers who we have been working with over the last few years. Expect some tasty and truly exciting collaborations bringing real craftsmanship, quality and flavour. Each of these fine producers are also exhibiting on the day, showcasing their wares from their own stands.

Please note - masterclasses are an additional cost and are not included in the entry ticket price. An Open Day entry ticket is required to attend these classes. Each masterclass is £5 per person and can be purchased online in advance or on the day. We expect them to be very popular so pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Also...

As well as this, we have our very own Wold Top Bar with a special beer collaboration, along with our Maturing Malt, wine, Pimms and prosecco. Field and Forage are our caterers for the day and they'll be offering a range of foods including nachos and wraps, and of course catering for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. For this year's live music we welcome Maisie and the Thompsons from 6pm. Keyboards, guitars, bass, drums and vocals all expertly played and mixed to perfection. We welcomed Maisie and the Thompsons to the distillery back in April 2019 for our Distillery Sessions and we can't wait to have them back!

As you can see we've got lots going on! For more updates and to make sure you don't miss anything, please sign up to our mailing list newsletter and/or keep checking back on this page.

Please note: We do not send out physical tickets for this event, your confirmation email will act as your tickets on the day. We advise all visitors against wearing high heels as they are not appropriate for the mezzanine flooring within the distillery. For information on accessibility please read our Accessibility Guide. Early afternoon on the day we expect to be very busy so please be aware that you may have to wait to take part in some of the activities or get onto a tour.
