A Story of Collaboration

This special coffee is the result of  our latest collaboration with Three Ridings Coffee, renowned Yorkshire roasters, and the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, makers of the award-winning Filey Bay single malt whisky. Leo and Jordan from Three Ridings meticulously selected an ex-bourbon cask that previously held Filey Bay Flagship, seeking a coffee that would complement the whisky’s signature citrusy and sweet notes.

The Perfect Marriage of Flavours

The chosen beans, a fully washed coffee grown in the northern hills of Malawi, boast notes of caramel, golden sultana, and a touch of green fruit. Aged green for 20 days in the ex-Filey Bay cask, these beans take on a whole new dimension. A medium roast unlocks a delightful balance of green apple acidity with rich caramel sweetness, hints of chocolate, and lingering citrus. The pièce de résistance? A prominent whisky aroma that lingers on the finish, creating a truly unique and satisfying coffee.
