Enjoying: Taking the train to Hunmanby

We really appreciate that one of the few challenges with whisky tours is that, usually, someone has to drive. Drivers drams are available but equally, it’s nice to be able to enjoy the tastings with your friends in the moment at the Distillery.

To help with this, we’ve been working with the team at Hunmanby station to match up the best trains to go with our tours so that you can travel from Scarborough, Seamer and Filey, (or Bridlington, Driffield and Hull in the other direction), without worrying about driving home. As it’s a reasonably small line there can be a bit of a wait between trains but luckily we have a lovely coffee shop with a great selection of food, homemade cakes, tea and really good coffee to keep you going!

To make visiting by the train even more compelling, we’re also offering a free hot drink if you show a valid train ticket, and if there are 4 of you coming for a tour, you’ll only need to pay for 3.

See the full timetable here: http://bit.ly/2IgaSsb

From Scarborough to Hunmanby (20 minute journey time)

Monday to Saturday

For the 11am tour, catch the 10am train

For the 1pm tour, catch the 11.35am train

You could return on the 12.30, 14.29 or 15.59 trains

Sunday

For the 11am tour, catch the 10.09am train

The 13.02 or 15.02 trains should suit returns

Please note: this timetable is correct until the 18th May 2019, when the times will change. Hunmanby station is a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from the Distillery)
